Rayalaseema leader and YSR's brother Y S Vivekananda Reddy is one of the prominent names chosen to serve as a minister.
Hyderabad | 27th November 2010
The decks have been cleared by the Congress high command for the formation of the state cabinet after it gave the go-ahead to names proposed by chief minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy in New Delhi on Saturday.

Sources further say that Rayalaseema leader and YSR's brother Y S Vivekananda Reddy is one of the prominent names chosen to serve as a minister in the new cabinet.

The CM had earlier met Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other leaders on his arrival in the national capital on Saturday morning. He had told media persons at the Delhi airport that he was in the city to get his new cabinet approved. He had also said that his team would provide a transparent and clean administration.

On his arrival in Delhi, KKR met union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, and then drove to meet prime minister Manmohan Singh. He thanked the PM and the high command for considering him for the chief minister's post and entrusting him with the responsibility.

KKR then met Sonia Gandhi and thanked her as well, and briefed her about the present political situation in the state.

Later, KKR met union home minister P Chidambaram in his chambers, and is believed to have discussed the present situation, especially regarding the separate Telangana statehood issue.
