Congress Sabotaging My Son's Career: Sunitha
Sunitha alleged that the police were acting at the behest of politicians who, she said, will go to any lengths to keep her son away from political success.

Strongly condemning the actions of police, TDP MLA Paritala Sunitha railed against the manner in which the police are conducting the search for her son Sriram, who has been accused of attempting to murder Congress leader Kamireddy Sudhakar Reddy. "They turned up at my home in Aravindnagar early in the morning without giving me any notice, or even considering the impropriety of searching a woman's house at that time," she said.
Stressing on the "innocence" of her son, Sunitha alleged that the police were acting at the behest of politicians who, she said, will go to any lengths to keep her son away from political success, fearing that he might gain popularity of the same magnitude as his late father, Paritala Ravi.
"My son is a good boy. We have educated him, and brought him up to stay away from factionism. He wants to do good for the society and help his people. Getting people killed off secretively by goons might be in their nature, but not in ours," Sunitha asserted.
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu also joined in, saying that Congress was intentionally targeting TDP leaders in, what he called, a characteristically bully-like manner. He warned the Congress party that TDP won't take the harrassment of its leaders lying down.
