The executive body of the Congress Legislature Party on Saturday bowed down to P Shankar Rao's
pressure tactics, and allowed him to speak from the CLP Office after 2 days.
Speaking to the media, Shankar Rao said that he did take anyone's permission to raise his voice from the CLP platform.
"I have every right to speak from the CLP as a loyal and Congress party MLA," he said.
Reiterating that he would stand by his comments against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Shankar Rao said that he would continue his fight against corruption at all levels.
"Apart from corruption, I will also raise my voice against those who bring disrepute to the party by making harsh comments against the government and the party," he said.
Dismissing allegations of "match-fixing" with YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy, Shankar Rao said that he would continue his fight against Jagan till the latter's corruption ends.
He also said that the Congress would win at least half the seats in the ensuing by-elections if they utilise his services properly. (INN)
