Hyderabad | 9th May 2018
Reacting strongly to police officials' interference in civil disputes, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar released an audio message today stating that the details furnished by a couple who had approached him two days ago with a problem, had pained him a lot.

Kumar released the audio message of more than three minutes' duration on Wednesday. In the message, he told the police personnel how to behave with people while getting details of their problems.

Bemoaning the way that the police officials behaved towards the couple who had approached them on the night of May 7, the Commissioner asked the relevant officials why they interfered in a civil dispute, and why they kept the couple in a lockup.

The Commissioner released the message without revealing the names of the police officials and the police station involved.

He asked the police personnel not to repeat such acts, and work in conformity with the government's aims and objectives.
