Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today reiterated that the State government would extend all possible support to the investors and entrepreneurs in Telangana.
The Chief Minister attended a CII-Telangana & TDF-USA conference on Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said the State government's policy was to enable Telangana to compete with the fastest developing countries in the world.
He said that irrespective of politics former chief ministers Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrashekar Rao had pursued policies for the development of Hyderabad, and that the Congress government would not compromise on the development of Hyderabad or of Telangana.
"The State government will continue the good steps taken by the previous regimes for the development of Hyderabad, and it will move forward with the support of CII to create education and employment opportunities in Telangana," Reddy said.
He also said that the State government was ready to develop 64 ITIs into Skill Development Centers at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore, and that consultations with stakeholders were in progress to also set up Skill Universities. He added that the government would present degree certificates to those students who joined for skill development training.
