Kiran Kumar Reddy To Tour Cyclone-Hit Areas

The Chief Minister will visit the cyclone affected areas in Srikakulam district, and will also discuss the relief operations.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will tour the areas affected by the Cyclone Phailin on Sunday.

The CM's plan is reported to be as follows:

1. Kiran Kumar Reddy will catch a flight at Shamshabad airport at 7am on Sunday, and reach the Visakhapatnam Airport at 8am.
2. He will make an aerial survey of the crop damages from 8:20am.
3. By 9:20am, he will reach the helipad at the Donkuru village of Itchapuram, Srikakulam district, and interact with fishermen in the village.
4. The CM will reach Devudu Gudi Thota near Kaviti at 10:15am and interact with the coconut/cashew farmers.
5. He will reach the Gnana Bharathi School at Itchapuram, and hold a review meeting on the cyclone relief operations with the concerned officials from 11:20am.
6. At 3pm he will arrive at his Camp Residence, having taken a flight to Hyderabad at 1:30 pm. (INN)
