The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Wednesday, came down heavily on the TDP and YSR Congress for igniting agitations on the farmers' cause to eke out a political advantage.
Talking to media persons after cancelling his visit to the Araku valley due to bad weather, he stated that both Chandrababu Naidu's Rythu Porubata and Jagan Mohan Reddy's Rythubata have been launched with a political motive, and that they lacked commitment to farmers' demands.
He also criticised the media for publishing speculative reports highlighting differences between himself and PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and other ministers in the coordination committee meeting.
He also said, "The date for cabinet expansion will be announced soon once the High Command gives its nod".
The government will also mobilize investment proposals amounting to Rs. 5 lakh crore to establish industries at the Partnership Summit, he said adding that proposals worth Rs. 27 crore have been cleared in North Andhra. (INN)
