Chittoor Mayor Anuradha Murder Accused Surrenders

Chintu alias Chandrasekhar, the main accused in the sensational murder of Chittoor mayor Katari Anuradha and her husband Mohan, today surrendered before the additional district court, at Chittoor.

Chintu had been absconding after the mayor and her husband were killed on November 17.

It was alleged that Chintu, along with five members of his gang, shot Anuradha to death, and stabbed Mohan with daggers due to which he died later in the evening.

Some of the accused had already been arrested by the police.
