Chiranjeevi Welcomes Three-Capital Proposal Of Jagan

Former union minister and Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi today welcomed the proposal of the Andhra Pradesh government to have three capitals for the State.

Chiranjeevi said that the report submitted by the expert committee was aimed at doing justice to the people of all the areas of the State, and that focusing on equal development of all the three regions of the State was more important than having a glitzy capital.

"People of all the three regions will be deprived of development if Amaravathi is developed with Rs 1 lakh crore," he said.

He said that he was happy that the Chief Minister was focusing on all parts of the State equally, but suggested to him that there should be justice done to the farmers who had given away their lands for Amaravathi.

The actor also said that the development of the State would happen in the fastest manner only with the decentralization of governance.
