Chennamaneni Ramesh Approaches HC Over Citizenship Row

Vemulawada MLA and TRS leader Chennamaneni Ramesh on Thursday approached the Telangana High Court asking it to set aside the orders of the union government cancelling his citizenship.

Separately, his rival in the Assembly elections and Congress leader Aadi Srinivas, whose complaint led to Ramesh losing his citizenship, filed a caveat before the High Court urging it to give prior notice to him to present his arguments before admitting the petition of the MLA.

The petition will come up for hearing before the High Court on Friday.
