Ridiculing promises being made by Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu during his on-going "Vastunna Mee Kosam" padayatra, Congress MLC MS Prabhakar on Sunday asked him to also clarify how he plans on fulfilling those promises.
Talking to reporters at his chambers in the Legislative Council, Prabhakar maintained that Naidu has been making contradictory statements during his padayatra. He questioned Naidu's allegations of the Congress Government having emptied the State's exchequer. He insisted that Naidu should explain how he would organise funds to fulfill the hundreds of promises that he has been making to the people.
Prabhakar said that Naidu got his political identity due to the Congress party. He would not have become NTR's son-in-law if the then Congress Chief Minister T Anjaiah had not inducted him into his cabinet. He said that except communists and leaders of some communal parties, many politicians got their political identity due to Congress and that Naidu was one among them.
The Congress MLC alleged that the TDP chief was never available to his cadre at his house or office. But the greed for power has forced him to move among people. (INN)
