The Andhra Pradesh CM will participate in the annual industrial trade fair INNOPROM 2016, and try to drum up investor interest in his State.
After a similar visit to China last month, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is leaving on July 10 for Yekaterinburg, the fourth largest city in Russia, to participate in the 7th edition of the annual industrial trade fair INNOPROM 2016.
INNOPROM, held in Yekaterinburg since 2010, is a top international industrial trade fair, and is organized every year to showcase global engineering innovations. Some 70 countries participating in the forum will discuss the future of the global industry. The Chief Ministers of Maharashtra and Rajasthan Devendra Fadnavis and Vasundhara Raje respectively, representatives from Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand, and executives from 100 business firms are part of the Indian delegation.
At INNOPROM, Naidu will interact and hold bilateral meetings with representatives of international business, directors of leading companies and heads of foreign chambers of commerce operating in Russia.
The Chief Minister will hold meetings to promote Brand Amaravathi and will also meet several investors and world leaders. Later, he will participate in the official reception hosted by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region to celebrate he opening of the fair.
The next day, he will attend the Russian-Indian business forum and take part in the panel discussion along with Fadnavis and Raje. Soon after the discussion, he and the other two CMs will attend the opening of the INNOPROM 2016 partner-country exhibition.
After lunch, the CM will meet Russian politician Denis Manturov, the Minister of Trade And Industry of the Russian Federation. Soon after the meeting, he will present a couple of slides in the strategic session "Industry + Internet" along with Manturov. It will be followed by a group discussion.
On July 12, the Chief Minister will hold a meeting with Boris Dubrovskiy, the Governor of Chelyabinsk, and D V Pasler, the Head of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region. A presentation will be made on the opportunities in the Indian States by J Krishna Kishore, CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board.
The CM and his delegation will then leave for St. Petersburg, where he will interact with executives. The delegation will leave St. Petersburg and reach Delhi via Moscow on July 13.
