Andhra Pradesh minister and son of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu Nara Lokesh today declared the details of the assets of his family members, and even the the 2-year-old grandson of the CM is richer than the CM himself.
Chandrababu Naidu's total assets are Rs 2.52 crores, his wife Bhuvaneshwari has Rs 25.41 crores, Lokesh has Rs 15.21 crores, Brahmani has Rs 15.01 crores, and Lokesh and Brahmani's son 2-year-old Devansh has Rs 11.54 crores, including a swanky house in Jubilee Hills.
"This is the seventh consecutive year that we are giving out the details of the assets of our family voluntarily," Lokesh said, and questioned his critics, who he claimed were levelling baseless charges against his family and him, whether they did so. Though 17 cases had been filed against Heritage when YSR was the Chief Minister, not even a single case was proved, Lokesh pointed out.
"There will be no issues with disclosing assets if anybody does business as per norms and provisions," Lokesh said, in a veiled reference to Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Getting less veiled, Lokesh then directly attacked Jagan, and said that the YSR Congress Party president had never announced his assets, and that his (Jagan's) assets were being announced by the CBI and ED.
