Naidu's Assets Case Adjourned

Vijayamma seeks a transfer of the case against TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu to the Supreme Court or to the High Court of any other state.
Hyderabad | 13th January 2012
The Supreme Court, on Friday, adjourned the petition hearing of Pulivendula MLA Y S Vijayamma to 16 January.

Vijayamma was seeking a transfer of the disproportionate assets case against Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu to the Supreme Court or to the High Court of any other state.

Vijayamma wanted to transfer the case to the apex court or a High Court of any other state, because she felt that there was judicial bias in Hyderabad.

Earlier, 3 judges from the Andhra Pradesh High Court, including Chief Justice Madan B Lokur, recused themselves from the case. (INN)
