Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday urged the State's farmers to give some time to his government to fulfill all the promises that he made to them.
Addressing a meeting at Jangareddygudem in West Godavari, Naidu said that the TDP government was committed to waiving off the agricultural loans.
However, he said that it might take some time for the government to fulfill all the promises.
He briefed the farmers about the financial crisis being faced by the government. He said that despite the financial crunch, however, the government would ensure that the farmers did not suffer.
The Chief Minister also held separate review meetings with the ministers, legislators and officials of the West Godavari district.
Naidu, who arrived here on Wednesday evening, interacted with ministers P Sujatha and Manikyala Rao, ZP Chairman Bapiraju and others. He asked them to prepare village-level plans to ensure that all areas witnessed equal growth.
Later on Thursday, Naidu left for Hyderabad after concluding his 2-day tour. (INN)
