Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said the Centre was not releasing funds for the Command Control Centre (CCS) for the state's police force.
Hyderabad | 28th March 2018
Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy today informed the Legislative Council that the Centre was not releasing funds for the construction of the Command Control Centre (CCS) for the state's police force.

Replying to questions raised by members on the issue, the Home Minister said that the CCS was important as it would play a major role in the effective functioning of the police force, but needed much more money than given so far.

Reddy said the state government gave utmost priority to law & order, and had allocated Rs 100 crores for the police force. The government would construct SP offices in every new district, and two new police training centres would be set up to improve police skills further, he announced.
