Central Team Reviews Swine Flu Cases In Hyderabad
Meanwhile, a total of 50,000 swine flu kits have reached Hyderabad, and are being distributed among the major hospitals in Hyderabad and other districts.
A central team on Thursday reviewed the swine flu cases in Telangana, especially in Hyderabad.
The team comprising of Ashok Kumar, Additional Director General of Health; Shashi Khare, Additional Director of the National Centre for Disease Control; and Pradeep Khasnobis, Programme Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme; visited Gandhi Hospital on Thursday and reviewed the treatment being given to the affected patients.
Three more persons died of swine flu on Wednesday, and the total number of affected persons in the State has increased to 247. As many as 53 persons are undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
Meanwhile, a total of 50,000 swine flu kits have reached Hyderabad, and are being distributed among the major hospitals in Hyderabad and other districts.
The central team will also visit Mahabubnagar, as the second highest number of swine flu cases after Hyderabad have been reported from the district. (INN)
