The Anti-Corruption Bureau court in Andhra Pradesh today ordered its officials to re-investigate the infamous "note-for-vote" scam, and also set a deadline of September 29 for completion of the re-inquiry and submitting of the final report.
Earlier, YSR Congress Party MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy had filed a petition accusing TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of involvement in the scandal that shook the political fraternity. Reddy furnished a forensic report that supposedly revealed that the voice-sample that was collected from a tapped telephonic conversation with TRS MLA Elvis Stephenson in connection with the case, was that of Naidu.
The ACB officials will interrogate the AP CM and others in this connection after reviewing the evidence.
