Case Against Jagan For Misbehaving With Doctor
Andhra Pradesh Leader Of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy apparently tried to snatch an autopsy report from a doctor in connection with the Volvo bus accident.
An FIR was registered against YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday for misbehaving with a government official and preventing him from discharging his duties, the Andhra Pradesh Police said.
According to the communication, the Nandigama police booked the case following a complaint from the development committee of a government-run area hospital.
It is said that the Andhra Pradesh Leader Of Opposition on Tuesday tried to snatch an autopsy report from a doctor.
Jagan came to the hospital to meet those injured in the Volvo bus accident where the bus fell off a bridge into a canal near Mulapadu, killing 11 people and injuring over 30.
Jagan alleged that a fictitious report was prepared without an autopsy actually being conducted on the body of the driver of the bus. The YSRCP supremo vehemently argued with District Collector Ahmed Babu, and accused him of indulging in corrupt practices to protect the company that owned the bus and threatened to send him to jail.
The bus belongs to Diwakar Travels owned by TDP MP J C Diwakar Reddy, and the driver was allegedly drowsy. Jagan alleged that the TDP government was trying to save Diwakar Travels.
