Saifabad police on Thursday detained 3 young boys after rescuing them out of the Hussain Sagar Lake.
The youths had rammed their speeding car into the foothpath, which then smashed the railing and plunged into the lake. The incident took place opposite NTR Ghat.
According to Saifabad police, they managed to rescue the youths stuck in the car from drowning.
The young men were identified as Praveen, Srinivas and Vivek. The police managed to detain Praveen and Srinivas, while Vivek managed to escape. According to the 2, Vivek was driving the car.
