Cab Driver Shows Private Parts To Passenger, Held

Hyderabad Police's SHE Teams arrested one Md Saleem of Pahadishareef, driver of a travel agency, for harassing a lady tourist from Kerala.

SHE Teams said that the woman had arrived in Hyderabad along with her family on a three-day visit, and had engaged a cab from a travel agency and visited various tourist spots in the city. At the end of their tour, on the third day, when the complainant was sitting beside Saleem in the front seat on her way to catch a train, the latter unzipped his pants and started showing his private parts to her.

When the lady started shouting and screaming repeatedly, he stopped the car. She got down immediately and narrated the incident to her father and uncle, who questioned the driver. The latter tried to drive away, but father and uncle grabbed the car keys from him. The driver then threw their luggage onto the road.

The lady called up the travel agency and complained against the driver. As her family and she were to board the train, she could not complain at a police station. However, she sent the details to the Whatsapp number of the Hyderabad Police requesting to take necessary action.

The SHE Teams then investigated the case and arrested the driver.
