BRS MLA P Kaushik Reddy today slammed the Congress-led State government and alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and M Kodandaram had carried out a false campaign against their party and former CM K Chandrashekar Rao on the issue of jobs.
Referring to Revanth Reddy's claims that the salaries of the government employees were paid on the fourth day of this month, he said that he'd like to see if they would be given on time every month.
He also said that 1,63,000 government jobs had been filled during KCR's tenure, and that notifications for recruitment for even more posts had been issued. He asked the government to release the full details of the number of jobs filled in KCR's rule if it disputed his numbers. Claiming that the Congress government was formed on the foundation of lies, he asked, "How can it be said that jobs were not given when salaries of the 1,63,000 employees were paid? 42,000 vacancies are still pending. Complete that too and then give salaries," he said.
He also said that Revanth Reddy should immediately announce the job calendar for the two lakh jobs mentioned by him.
Referring to the defamation suit filed against him by Congress leader Manickam Tagore, he said that he would reply in court. "We have repeated the same comments made by Komatireddy Venkat Reddy regarding the post of PCC president," he said.
