Speaking at the Aarogya Utsavalu celebrations as part of the Praja Palana - Praja Vijayotsavalu at the HMDA Grounds, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today announced that appointment letters for selected candidates for Group 1 jobs would be handed over soon.
The CM said that 563 more Group 1 officers were going to be involved in the reconstruction of Telangana State soon.
The Chief Minister also said that it was a historic accomplishment that 14,000 people were appointed in the medical and health department in just one year.
Never one to miss an opportunity to criticise the previous BRS administration, the CM added, "The previous BRS government had formed eight medical colleges, but didn't provide any facilities in them. The current Congress government has prioritised education and healthcare. Within a year of coming to power, it has provided more than 50,000 jobs, and decided to appoint another 6,500 people in the medical and health sectors. We are working with the aim of providing the highest number of doctors in the country."
He also said, "The BRS government failed to curb paper leaks in the recruitment examinations. In contrast, we are committed to conducting exams seamlessly, giving the youth confidence that their efforts won't go in vain. Our sincerity is evident in our actions, even amid obstacles."
