BRS MLAs Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, V Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, Gudem Mahipal Reddy and Manik Rao, who met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday, today asserted that they would not leave the party at any cost.

Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan, they said they had complete faith in the party high command, and that they had met the CM to discuss protocol issues in their Assembly constituencies.

Sunitha Lakshma Reddy said, "We met IG Shivadhar Reddy and CM Revanth Reddy on the same issue. There is no question of our switching parties. Some people are deliberately creating confusion and trying to defame us. We will not hesitate to file defamation suits if our rivals continue to malign us. We have political values. We will always be with KCR. And Medak is the birthplace of our party's pink flag. We will win the Medak parliamentary constituency at any cost. And we will continue to fight with the government on protocol violations," she said.

She added that the ruling Congress being evasive on implementing the promises that it had made before the elections, and asked the government when it would implement the Mahalakshmi scheme and the other guarantees made by it.

She asserted that the BRS would play the role of a strong opposition.

MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said they had met CM Revanth Reddy on issues involving their constituencies. He added that the Congress was a party of untouchables, and wondered who would join it.

"Medak is the land of movements. We are with KCR in this movement. The Congress is creating this propaganda over a normal official meeting. I also met the Prime Minister. Does it mean that I am going to join the BJP?" he asked.

He too said that the government should focus on the implementation of the guarantees given by the Congress.

MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy said that they had already met their district Collector and SP on local issues. "As a continuation of the same, we met Sivadhar Reddy and CM Revanth Reddy. I will never leave the BRS as long as I live," he claimed.

MLA Manik Rao said that he had asked CM Revanth Reddy not to stop funds for the irrigation projects of the Zaheerabad constituency. He also said that KCR had given him political birth, and that he would never betray him.
