BRS Leader Krishank Arrested In Fake Circular Case
The Osmania University administration had lodged a complaint alleging that a fake letter had been created in the name of the OU VC and posted on the social media.
BRS leader Krishank Manne was arrested today by the Telangana police in the fake Osmania University VC circular case.
The police stopped his car at the Panthangi check-post and took him into custody.
From there, he was taken to the Choutuppal police station.
The Osmania University administration had lodged a complaint in the police station alleging that a fake letter had been created in the name of the OU VC and posted on the social media.
The OU alleged that the fake circular said falsely that OU hostels were being closed due to shortage of water and electricity.
The police believe that Manne was behind this criminal act.
According to Congress leaders, the circular was prepared in order to topple the Congress government in Telangana.
Manne posted on his X account that he was returning to Hyderabad from Kothagudem to attend a press conference organised by BRS working president K T Rama Rao when his car was stopped by the police at the Panthangi check post.
"Without the vehicle being checked, we were made to stand for a long time being told that higher officials would come. I was then taken to the Choutuppal police station in a car," Manne said.
