BRS Is BJP's B-Team: Revanth Reddy
The CM alleged that the BRS was working with the BJP to split votes in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-election.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today launched a sharp attack on the BRS, accusing it of engaging in conspiracy politics ahead of the elections in Telangana.
He alleged that the BRS was acting as the B-team of the BJP to split votes in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-election.
Speaking at the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Day held at Charminar, Reddy said that the BRS had entered into a secret pact with the BJP during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The transfer of 21% of votes to the BJP during that election, he said, clearly exposed the BRS' conspiracy politics in the State.
He said that the BRS had now adopted the same political strategy in the Jubilee Hills by-election. Similar collusion between the BRS and BJP would be witnessed in the next Assembly elections as well, he claimed, and appealed to voters to thwart the BRS' attempts to split votes.
Reddy also took the opportunity to speak about youth participation in active politics. He praised former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi for granting voting rights to citizens aged 18 and above, thereby strengthening India's democratic fabric, and said that an amendment to the Indian Constitution to reduce the minimum age to contest Assembly elections to 21 years was the need of the hour.
Recalling Rajiv Gandhi's Sadbhavana Yatra, which he said was undertaken to preserve the unity and integrity of the nation, the Chief Minister said, "We are organising this program to uphold Rajiv Gandhi's spirit of harmony, and I congratulate the organisers for presenting the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Award to Salman Khurshid."
Reddy also paid tribute to the Gandhi family, and said that the surname Gandhi was synonymous with India. "Iron Lady Indira Gandhi sacrificed her life to protect the nation's integrity. Rajiv Gandhi continued her legacy and also laid down his life for the country. Inspired by Rajiv Gandhi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi embarked on the Bharat Jodo Yatra to unite the nation. Three generations of the Gandhi family have been a great source of inspiration for the entire country," he said.
