An outsourcing employee from the building functioning as the temporary secretariat of Telangana, the Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Bhavan, tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
He is working in the IT department of the secretariat.
A couple of days back, two employees working in the finance department of the secretariat also tested positive for the virus. That resulted in the employees of the finance department going into self-quarantine at their homes and stopping coming to the office.
The self-isolating employees are visiting the secretariat only to attend to any emergency works.
Alerted by the infections, the security personnel of the secretariat are thoroughly scanning the employees before allowing them entry into the premises.
