The Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that it will carve out a separate Telangana state if it comes into power at the Centre.
"We respect the sentiments of the people and will fulfill their wish. There is no meaning for so many sacrifices otherwise," G Kishan Reddy said after assuming charge as the state unit president for a second term.
It has been the policy of our BJP to support smaller states, he said adding that the party has no hard feelings over other regions. There is political instability in the State and the government is in a minority, he said. (INN)
