BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday announced that his party would strive hard to strengthen its organisation and base in the Telangana region.
Speaking to media persons here, Nagam expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the municipal elections in Telangana.
However, he said that the BJP would strengthen itself further in the region.
He expressed confidence that the results of the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections would be in favour of the TDP-BJP combine in Telangana. He also hoped that the BJP would win more than 300 seats to form the next government at the Centre.
He said that the people had given a positive vote in favour of Narendra Modi.
He said that Modi would be the next Prime Minister, and unlike Dr Manmohan Singh, would act as a strong Prime Minister. He said that Modi would treat issues like unemployment and the welfare of farmers, women and minorities, as a priority.
