BJP Releases Seemandhra Manifesto
Promises 10-year tax holiday, 9 hours of power supply to farmers, a Vizag-Chennai Industrial Corridor, an A P Petroleum Corridor, an IIT and an IIM.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released its manifesto for the general elections in the Seemandhra region.
Speaking to media persons after releasing the manifesto, former union minister Krishnam Raju and senior leader Prof. Seshagiri Rao promised that the BJP would extend the tax holiday in the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh to 10 years.
The BJP also promised 9 hours of power supply to farmers, steps to control prices of essential commodities, eradication of unemployment, formation of a Vizag-Chennai Industrial Corridor, an A P Petroleum Corridor on the lines of the Gujarat Petroleum Corridor, institutions like IITs and IIMs, tourism development by promoting the Araku valley, and 4 big hospitals on the lines of AIIMS.
The other major promises include a ban on Gutkha, tax exemption for life-saving drugs, a Wakf Tribunal, and loans to minorities through the Minorities' Finance Corporation. (INN)
