BJP Releases Manifesto For Telangana
Promises National Project Status for Pranahita-Chevella, Bathukamma as State Festival, friendly police stations, corruption-free governance and more.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released its manifesto for Telangana for the upcoming general elections.
Speaking to media persons after releasing the manifesto, BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy said that the manifesto has been designed based on the development models of Chattisgarh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
The BJP's major promises include National Project Status for Pranahita-Chevella, Bathukamma as a State Festival, subsidy for solar pump sets, people-friendly police stations, corruption-free transparent governance and effective fee-reimbursement schemes.
Reddy said that if voted to power, the BJP government would set up super-specialty hospitals on the lines of Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences at all district headquarters.
The other promises include airports in Khammam and Adilabad, a textiles park at Adilabad, a Railway Coach Factory at Kazipet, a Singereni Industrial Corridor, a dedicated super-special hospital for Singareni employees, a Help Centre of the External Affairs Ministry to assist and guide people of Telangana working in the Gulf countries, State Festival status for Bonalu and Sammaka Sarakka Jathra, and setting up of night courts for people's convenience.
Kishan Reddy hoped that the BJP-TDP combine would come to power in Telangana, and appealed to the people to vote for development.
Former Governor V Rama Rao, former union minister Bandaru Dattatreyya and former MLAs N Indirasena Reddy and Dr K Lakshman were also present. (INN)
