BJP Leadership Gives Green Signal For Etela's Entry

The party is likely to finalise the date of joining of Etela in the next two days.
Hyderabad | 27th May 2021
The national leadership of the BJP today gave its green signal to welcoming former Telangana health minister Etela Rajender into the party fold.

The national president of the party J P Nadda held discussions with the state party leaders on the issue, before green-lighting the proposed move.

The meeting between the leaders was held in virtual mode, with state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar speaking to Nadda on the issue.

The party is likely to finalise the date of joining of Etela in the next two days. Etela will then go to New Delhi and join the saffron party in the presence of its national leaders.

Former TRS MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy is also likely to join the BJP along with Etela.

Etela has reportedly held discussions with all key leaders of the BJP over the last couple of days, including with state BJP in-charge Tarun Chug, Bandi Sanjay and former MP Vivek Venkataswamy.

It is learnt that Etela is likely to resign from his post after his Delhi tour.
