Congress leader A Revanth Reddy today said that the RSS heads were behind Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's talk of a third front.
Reddy alleged that the RSS think tank had asked KCR to trouble AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who was contemplating distancing himself from the BJP, and that KCR was speaking as part of his efforts to protect the BJP and Narendra Modi.
He added that "Nagpur sleeper cells" were deployed in Pragathi Bhavan.
Reddy said that the political scenario had changed suddenly after Naidu's statement that the BJP did not want an alliance with the TDP. He claimed that the Intelligence Bureau had informed the Centre that the TDP was contemplating an alliance with the Congress, leading the BJP to think that there would be a problem if Naidu floated a new alliance in Andhra Pradesh, and bringing KCR onto the screen in the name of a third front. He said that the BJP was putting out the third front talk to weaken the Congress in the South.
Reddy also alleged that KCR was creating differences among the STs instead of implementing reservations for them, and also that KCR's family members were exerting pressure on KCR to make IT Minister K T Rama Rao the Chief Minister.
