BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreyya, on Sunday, accused chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of having failed to bring funds from the Centre to the state.
Talking to media persons at the party office at Nampally, Bandaru alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy was afraid of losing his post, and that that is why he was not mounting pressure on prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for funds for the state.
"Despite having 31 Congress MPs from AP, Kiran Kumar Reddy is unable to mount pressure on the Centre for funds," he said.
"At least now, the chief minister should focus his attention on bringing funds from the Centre by utilising the services of MPs," Dattatreyya said.
The BJP leader also advised Kiran Kumar Reddy to take steps towards providing remunerative price for farm produce, apart from addressing the power problem, and the shortage of fertilizers and seeds. (INN)
