Dubbing Telangana IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao as a "pilla kaki" (small crow, a derogatory term used to describe someone as a clueless upstart), Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka dared the former to come for a debate on the works being done in the last three years by the TRS government if he had the capability.
Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Bhatti alleged that not even a single youth got a job in any village so far after the TRS came to power in the State.
Bhatti said his party wound not be a silent spectator to the "looting spree" of the TRS leaders, and warned KTR to speak cautiously.
He also said that the state government was itself obstructing the construction of irrigation projects, and that the Congress was ready to prove it.
The TPCC leader further demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao order a vigilance inquiry into the Mission Bhagiratha project if he was indeed not corrupt.
Bhatti also faulted the Chief Minister for sending his grandson Himanshu to offer "muthyala thalambralu" to the presiding deities at the Bhadrachalam temple on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami and insulting age-old traditions.
