Bathukamma, the state's floral festival, was celebrated in the Assembly premises amid pomp and gaiety today.

Bathukamma, the state's floral festival, was celebrated in the Assembly premises amid pomp and gaiety today.

MLC K Kavitha, former deputy speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Congress MLA Sithakka and several others participated in the celebrations.

They went through the traditional rituals by circling around Bathukamma and singing along to its theme songs at the premises.

Speaker P Srinivas Reddy, Council Chairman Bhupal Reddy, ministers S Niranjan Reddy and Prashanth Reddy, and others attended the celebrations.
