Bandi Sanjay To Begin Fourth Phase Of Padayatra From Monday

The fourth phase will be held for 10 days, in the Medchal-Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency limits.
Hyderabad | 10th September 2022
Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar will hold the fourth phase of his Praja Sangrama Padayatra from September 12.

The fourth phase will be held for 10 days, in the Medchal-Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency limits, and will cover the Kukatpally, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad Cantonment, Uppal, L B Nagar, Medchal and Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituencies.

The fourth phase will be launched after performing special prayers at the Chittaramma temple in the Quthbullapur Assembly constituency on September 12. An inaugural public meeting will be held at the Ram Leela grounds by the party leaders on the first day, and national general secretary of the party Sunil Bansal will take part as the chief guest at the meeting. The padayatra will conclude on the Outer Ring Road at Pedda Amberpet.

The padayatra has been confined to 10 days keeping in view the upcoming Vijaya Dasami Navaratri celebrations.

The party leaders said that they had made all the necessary arrangements for the padayatra. State party treasurer B Santi Kumar, State secretary Bomma Jayashri and State party official spokesperson N V Subash released the day-to-day schedule of the padayatra in the State party office.

Speaking to mediapersons on the occasion, they alleged that the State government had done everything to make the third phase of the padayatra fail by creating several hurdles. The police created many problems for the BJP including citing lack of permission to hold the padayatra and arresting Bandi Sanjay Kumar in the undivided Warangal district. And the TRS leaders and workers had damaged the BJP workers' and leaders' vehicles.

To avoid similar issues again, the leaders said that they had handed over the details of the fourth phase of the padayatra to the police officials of the three police Commissionerates well in advance, but that they had not received any written permission for the padayatra from the police so far, even if it appeared like the party had received oral permission.
