Bandi Asks KCR To Release White Paper On Work For Tribals
Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded that CM K Chandrashekar Rao come out with a white paper on what his government had done for tribals.
Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao come out with a white paper on what his government had done for tribals in the last nine years.
Addressing the BJP booth committee members at Mulugu, Sanjay said that before the Assembly elections, KCR had promised to implement 12% reservations for Scheduled Tribes, but had not done it, by linking it to reservations for Muslims. If the Chief Minister was sincere, he should promulgate a special ordinance and implement 12% quota for the STs right away, Sanjay said.
Sanjay accused KCR of cheating the tribals by dodging providing title deeds for Podu lands, too.
The Chief Minster had also been stalling the establishment of a tribal university at Mulugu by not allotting lands for years together, he said.
Launching a general broadside against the CM thereafter, he said that KCR had made Telangana a bankrupt State by resorting to borrowings of over Rs 5 lakh crore.
"Hundreds of BJP leaders have been thrown behind bars for protesting his misdeeds. Yet, we are not afraid of jails. Very soon, we are going to establish Rama Rajya in Telangana," he claimed.
