BJP National vice-president Bandaru Dattatreyya on Saturday demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy resign from his post owing his failure to run the government.
Speaking to media persons here, Dattatreyya alleged that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government has failed on all fronts in the state. He said that while the law and order situation is at its worst, farmers and other sections of the society are suffering due to the inefficiency of the government.
He accused the CM of having lost the ability to think and act on his own.
He alleged that despite his failures and inabilities, Kiran Kumar Reddy is trying to dominate others and for the same reason he lost his value in his own party.
Dattatreyya appealed to the legislators to restrain from getting emotional on the Telangana Bill and to participate in constructive discussion in the State Assembly and Council.
He said that legislators from both the regions should ensure amicable, peaceful and smooth bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
The BJP leader also claimed that several leaders from both the Telangana and Seemandhra regions are in touch with the Central leadership and have shown inclination towards joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. However, he did not disclose the names of those leaders. (INN)
