Badangpet Town Planning Supervisor, Architect Trapped By ACB
The Anti-Corruption Bureau today trapped red-handed Akula Ashok, Town Planning Supervisor, Badangpet Municipal Corporation, for accepting a bribe.

Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of the Ranga Reddy range today trapped red-handed Akula Ashok, Town Planning Supervisor, Badangpet Municipal Corporation; and A Srinivas Raju, a private architect of Chinni Sai Architects; when the supervisor demanded a Rs 30,000 bribe from complainant A Devender Reddy of U B Colony, Saroor Nagar, Ranga Reddy district, to grant house construction permissions for the plots of the complainant, and accepted the same through Raju.
The tainted amount of Rs 30,000 was recovered from the office table draw of Raju.
The ACB officials said that Ashok and Raju would be arrested and produced before the First Additional Special Judge for the SPE & ACB Cases Court at Hyderabad.
The officials said that to complain of demands of bribes by any public servant, the public may contact the toll-free number of the ACB, 1064.
