The South Central Railway has announced 2 special trains in order to clear the extra rush of passengers, between Aurangabad-Kollam and Vijayawada-Kollam.
The South Central Railway has announced 2 special trains in order to clear the extra rush of passengers, between Aurangabad-Kollam and Vijayawada-Kollam.
As per a SCR notification, Train No 766-C (Aurangabad-Kollam Special Train) will depart from Aurangabad at 5am on 25 August 2010, and arrive in Kollam at 11:45pm the next day. In the opposite direction, Train No. 765-C (Kollam-Aurangabad Special Train) will depart from Kollam at 2:15am on 30 August 2010 and arrive in Aurangabad at 8pm the next day.
Enroute, these Special Trains will stop at Jalna, Selu, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Dharmabad, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddi, Medchal, Bolarum, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Dornakal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions.
These trains will have one AC II tier, one AC III tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totalling 16 coaches.
Train No. 730-B (Vijayawada-Kollam Special Train) will depart from Vijayawada at 11pm on 28 August 2010 and arrive in Kollam at 11:45pm the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 729-B (Kollam-Vijayawada Special Train) will depart from Kollam at 2:15am on 27 August 2010 and arrive in Vijayawada at 2:30pm the next day.
Enroute, these Special Trains will stop at Guntur, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam, in both the directions.
