Hyderabad | 11th November 2016
People in Hyderabad were left confused as several ATM centres in the city denied money in the wee hours of Friday.

Thousands of people who hiked to ATM centers early in the morning had bitter experiences as there was apparently no cash in ATMs. At some centres, "Out Of Service" boards were hung, while in some other places, cash ran dry within the first few hours of the machine's functioning.

Serpentine queues lined up in front of banks and post offices and the atmosphere was rife with arguments between people and employees.

The people who exchanged their old notes for the new Rs. 2,000 polymer notes still faced difficulties as very few shops would tender a change for Rs. 2,000.

Several people who faced these situations have lamented that the Central government was wasting their valuable time.
