Dorjee Khandu's Helicopter Found

The Pawan Hans helicopter that was missing since 10am today, with Arunachal Pradesh CM Dorjee Khandu and 4 other officials onboard, has been found.

The Pawan Hans helicopter that was missing since 10am today, with Arunachal Pradesh CM Dorjee Khandu and 4 other officials onboard, has been found.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Shri Tabom Bam stated that CM Dorjee Khandu landed safely in Datorijo.

The copter was headed for Itanagar from Tawang, and went missing soon after take-off. It was last sighted at Sela Pass 20 mins after the take-off.

The airforce had dispatched 2 helicopters to search for Dorjee's chopper - a 5-month-old Eurocopter B-3.
