APNGOs Demand A Month's Extension For T-Bill Debate
Ashok Babu said that the political future of the leaders who support the T-Bill would be in dark and they wouldn't be able to contest or win elections in future.
APNGOs President Ashok Babu on Saturday warned the political leaders against supporting the State Reorganisation Bill.
Speaking to media persons here, Ashok Babu said that a majority of people in Andhra Pradesh are against the division of the state.
He said that the political future of the leaders who are supporting the Bill would be in dark and that they wouldn't be able to contest or win elections in future.
He expressed regret that President of India Pranab Mukherjee gave only one week extension for discussion on the Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly.
He demanded that the deadline for discussion be extended by at least one month.
Ashok Babu also announced that the APNGOs would organise a "Chalo Delhi" proramme when the Telangana Bill goes to the Parliament.
He said the schedule of fresh protests would be finalised during the all-party meeting to be held here on Monday or Tuesday. (INN)
