AP / Telangana Governor Greets Muslims On Id-ul-Fitr
E S L Narasimhan said the Quran's tenets of love, compassion, brotherhood, sacrifice and charity helped free the world from greed, violence and strife.

On the occasion of the culmination of the Holy Month of Ramzan as Id-Ul-Fitr, Governor E S L Narasimhan has extended his warm greetings and good wishes to all Muslim brethren.
In a note released on Monday, the Governor said that the teachings of the Holy Quran had shaped society since the advent of the Prophet. Its tenets of love, compassion, brotherhood, sacrifice and charity had helped humanity transcend into a world free from greed, violence and strife, where all people were united in a bond of brotherhood and love.
"The Holy Ramzan is a reminder to us of the purpose of life as ordained by God, and that only through rigorous self-discipline is it possible to realise the life eternal. On this Ramzan day, let us redeem our pledge to respect the dignity of man, the sanctity of life and the solemnity of all faiths," he said. (INN)
