AP State AIDS Control Society Observes National Youth Day

The event encouraged young men and women to adopt a healthy life style and persuaded them to voluntarily donate blood in regular intervals.

The Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society on Sunday observed the National Youth Day to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

On this occasion, APSACS Project Director Dr. B Kishore, and Additonal Director Dr. Hymavathi garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda.

A rally was also organized from Swamy Vivekananda statue to the Budda Bhavan.

The APSACS proposes to involve the personnel from various youth wings in this rally.

Dr. Hymavathi advised the youth to adopt life skills to protect themselves from HIV infection and drug abuse.

She also appealed to donate blood to save persons in need of blood.

The event encouraged young men and women to adopt a healthy life style and persuaded them to voluntarily donate blood in regular intervals. (INN)
