AP Reports 80 New Covid-19 Cases, Total 893

Andhra Pradesh reported 80 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, and three deaths took the toll in the state to 27.

Andhra Pradesh reported 80 new coronavirus positive cases on Thursday.

With this, the total number of coronavirus positive cases in the state reached 893.

New cases have been on a rise in the state - 35 on April 21, 56 yesterday and 80 today.

However, 21 persons have also been discharged today. Another 24 were discharged yesterday, too.

In all, as of now 141 people have been discharged and 27 have died due to the virus in the state. There are thus currently 725 active Covid-19 patients who are undergoing treatment in the designated hospitals.

According to the health bulletin released by the state medical department, of the 80 new cases reported today, Kurnool district reported the highest with 31 cases, followed by Guntur district with 18 cases.

Chittoor reported 14 positive cases, and East Godavari and Anantapur reported six cases each.
