The Governor of Andhra Pradesh S Abdul Nazeer today offered prayers in the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala along with his family members and entourage.
During his maiden visit to the world-famous Hindu shrine, the first citizen of the State first offered prayers in the Bhu Varaha Swamy temple following the temple tradition. On his arrival after that at the Maha Dwaram, he was received by TTD EO A V Dharma Reddy, while the archakas offered the Istikaphal welcome in a traditional manner.
After the darshan of Lord Venkateswara inside the sanctum sanctorum, the Governor was rendered the Vedasirvachanam in the Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later the EO offered him theertha prasadams, a laminated photo of Srivaru, and agarbattis and panchagavya products of the TTD.
The Principal Secretary to the Governor Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirupati SP Parameshwar Reddy, CVSO Narasimha Kishore, Tirumala temple Deputy EO Lokanatham and other officials were also present.
