BJP senior leader Vidyasagar Rao, on Tuesday, announced that the party's manifesto for Telangana will be released in the next two days.
Speaking to media personnel, Vidyasagar Rao said that the BJP has given top priority to the development of Telangana besides listing out the steps required for the overall development of the new state.
He said that the BJP's manifesto will cover the needs of all sections of the society.
With regard to a possible alliance with the Telugu Desam Party, he said that some TDP leaders were in touch with BJP national spokesperson Prakash Javedkar, and that there will be more clarity on the issue by Tuesday evening.
He expressed confidence that the TDP would ally with the BJP to prevent the division of votes and to strengthen its hold in Telangana.
He said that the TDP lacks the required number of cadre in many areas of Telangana and therefore, by allying with the BJP it could make up for its lapses. (INN)
