The Congress party will hold a meeting with the representatives of farmers' organisations, to discuss the possible solutions to the problems being faced by AP's farmers.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee's Kisan Cell chairman M Kodanda Reddy told reporters on Thursday that the meeting would be attended by several organisations and leaders representing the farmers in the state.
The day-long meeting will discuss the problems being faced by farmers in all the 3 regions, and will also prepare a list of demands for the government. The meeting will be held at Jubilee Hall from 10:30am.
The concluding session will be attended by Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, who also holds the Agriculture portfolio, and he will be presented a memorandum on behalf of the farmers.
